Cooper is relaxing with his new mom. We sponsored him and paid for some vet care to help his new mom get started.
Hazel, formerly Harley, is from the Humane Society in Monroe. We thought she was hw+ but she turned out to be negative. Yay!! We paid for her sponsor fee and spaying. Her foster is soon to adopt her.
Nellie:We sponsored Nellie and she was adopted from the Humane Society in Monroe.
Hank's Heroes is paying to treat Nova for heart worm while she is in foster care with Save Monroe Strays. She is from Romulus Animal Shelter.

Poor Copper was attacked badly by another dog. His surgeries are expensive. We helped him out and he is doing great.
Callie has gone through some tough times as a stray. She needed some costly antibiotics and we helped. She was being fostered by Save Monroe Strays but is now adopted.
Jamie is from Romulus Animal shelter. He has heart worm and we will be paying for it while he is being fostered by Save Monroe Strays.
Jenny was at Friends of the River Rouge animal shelter. She is with a foster with Save Monroe Strays. Jenny has heart worm and we will be paying for her treatment.
Meet Clifford. He is from the Romulus Animal Shelter. Clifford has heart worm and we are going to pay for it. He was pulled by SMS and is living with his foster.
Wait a minute. This is a cat. Yes, we will help cats too. This is DJ and he needed to be neutered. Huron Valley Humane in Ann Arbor did the work and we paid.
This is Jameson. He was found wandering around. Friends of the River Rouge animal shelter took him in. They discovered he had parvo, which can be deadly. Like many others, we donated to help this little guy and now he is doing well and is with a foster from SMS.
Meet Blanco. He is a sweet dog who happens to be heart worm positive and deaf.
He was at the Humane Society in Monroe until SMS pulled him. We are funding his heart worm treatment.
This is Alfie,now known as Riker. He was at DACC then was rescued by SMS. Recently, Riker was adopted. He is heart worm positive and we are funding so he can overcome it.
What a beauty! Sarah was adopted from Save Monroe Strays. However, she has heart worm. We are going to help her get better.
Rocky is 9 yrs old and his owners decided they didn't want him anymore. If they didn't find a home for him asap, they were going to euthanize. Sad but true story. Saving Innocent Souls rescue found him a foster and we are going to help him start a new life. Rocky, happy days are coming.
Meet Hilda. Another beautiful pup from DACC. Hilda, Bailey, was being fostered by SMS and just got adopted. Unfortunately, she has heart worm. We will be helping her get better.
This is sweet Kylee Jean. She is in need of surgery to remove a lump. Her mom needs a little financial help so we are happy to help. Hope it all goes well.
Coco is another sweet mama who has heart worm. She was pulled from Detroit by Enchanted Tails rescue in Grand Rapids. We are going to help her out.
Mama, now Martha, was found near Inkster wandering. She is scared and shut down. A big thank you to District 5 Animal Alliance in Detroit for rescuing her, and we will be paying to get her spayed. Happy Days are coming for you Martha.
Blaze has lived his whole life outside on a chain. Underdog Rescue has saved him. Unfortunately they just found out he has advanced hw. We are going to help Blaze get better. He just went for his first hw injection.
Meet Tyson. Underdog Rescue saved this sweetheart and we paid to get him neutered.
Oliver was chained up behind a garage with a sign that said 'free dog'. District 5 Animal Alliance rescued him. Sadly, he has hw, so we are going to pay for his treatment.
Update: Rubble's surgery was successful and he sent us a Thank You card for paying for his surgery.
Rubble's family is needing help with his surgery. He has a Uretheal Prolapse. We are going to help Rubble get through this.
Meadow was a stray at dacc, adopted and returned because the family didn't want her because she is hw positive. Meadow has a great new foster mom with Under Dog Recue.and we are going to help her get better.
Poor Kane has been abused, starved and beat. Genesee Animal Shelter took him in. He is in need of medical treatment and we are going to contribute. He is now safe in a foster home with Misfits Angels Rescue.
Meet Trevor. He has had a rough time. Trevor is scared of everything and has a hard time trusting. Genesee Animal Shelter took him in and has worked with him. District 5 rescued him and we are going to help him beat hw.
Nadia was a stray at Genesee Animal Control. New Hope rescued her and we paid for her to get spayed.
Pops was in a sad state. He was rescued by Michele's Rescue. Whatever happened to him before had him scared of everything. Once he gets relaxed and feels safe, we will be paying for his hw treatment.
Daphne needs a tooth removed and we are helping her owner's get it done.
Dana was rescued from Genesee Animal Control by Rejoyceful Rescue. She has infected eyes and ears and hw. We are going to help her out.
Poor Mocha was just left abandoned by her owners. SAVed Rescue took her in and we have vaccinated her and will soon get her spayed.
Frank's owners wanted to euthanize him because sometimes his penis would come out. Roughneck Rescue saved him. Now, he needs a lump removed and we are going to help.
Duke's family is going through some rough times. We are going to help so Duke can stay home.
Welcome to our website
Brownie is our very first rescue. She was a stray at animal control and never reclaimed. Brownie has eye issues, trouble hearing and her legs are a little shaky. She is 11 yrs old and being in the shelter was hard on her. With some meds and lots of love, Brownie is learning to feel safe and at home.
As of now, we are a foster based rescue. We are always looking for new fosters until we get our own place.
